Tyler E. Sanchez

Biography
Tyler E. Sanchez is a litigation partner at Salisian LLP. Mr. Sanchez’s practice is focused on defending consumer class actions and representing businesses and individuals in disputes – including partnership and business dissolution, corporate governance, fraud, unfair competition, real estate – across a broad range of industries.

Mr. Sanchez utilizes a client-centric and “business first” approach in successfully representing and guiding clients through all aspects of consultation and counsel; pre-litigation negotiation and strategy; state and federal court litigation; alternative dispute resolution; and arbitration proceedings.

Prior to joining Salisian LLP, Mr. Sanchez was a litigation associate at Murchison & Cumming, LLP in Los Angeles, California representing client in both jury and bench trial. Prior to that, he was also an associate with Ford & Diulio PC in Costa Mesa, California representing a wide array of clients in diverse practice areas in all aspects of litigation, including a successful FINRA panel arbitration.  He also worked at Hayford & Felchlin, LLP in the Los Angeles office.

Mr. Sanchez received his J.D. from Loyola Law School. While there, he externed at the Cancer Legal Resource Center and Engstrom, Lipscomb and Lack, both in Los Angeles. He also served as a research assistant to Loyola Law School Dean Michael Waterstone. Mr. Sanchez was the founding Board Member of Loyola Law School Orange County Alumni Council and a member of the Loyola Law School Juris Society. He received his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University.

Mr. Sanchez was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year from 2019-2025, a recognition bestowed on only 2.5% of California lawyers under the age of 40.

He is admitted to practice law in California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Representative Matters
  • Successfully compelled arbitration and represented two individuals and their corporation to extricate their photo licensing division from a prior merger during a hotly contested JAMS arbitration, resulting in a settlement that, among other things, resulted in the separation of their business from their prior business partner and limited liability company.
  • Represented a debt reconciliation company in a multi-day AAA arbitration on breach of contract and defending against multiple business tort and contractual counterclaims – including UCL, fraud, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and breach of contract – resulting in a confirmed six-figure arbitration award in favor of client with an award of attorneys’ fees.
  • Defended a staffing agency in an employment class action resulting in a favorable settlement in which staffing agency itself agreed to pay nothing.
  • Second-chaired multi-day, three-member panel FINRA arbitration in Los Angeles against brokerage resulting in resounding victory and arbitration award, including injunctive relief, monetary damages, and attorneys’ fees.
  • Successfully obtained a writ of mandate from the California Second District Court of Appeal overturning an erroneous denial of leave to amend.
  • Prevailed in a contested commercial unlawful detainer bench trial resulting in monetary damages, restitution and possession of commercial premises.
