Law Firm Salisian|Lee LLP Hires Two Talented New Associates
Signals Ongoing Growth for the Los Angeles-based Litigation Boutique
Los Angeles, CA – Salisian|Lee LLP today announced the hiring of two new associates, Stephanie Chau and Yujin Chun, to offer litigation team support in their downtown Los Angeles offices. The new hires are the most recent sign of continued and healthy growth for the five-year-old firm, soon after a move in 2015 to more spacious Hope Street office space.
“We are incredibly pleased to announce that our team is expanding to better serve our growing client base,” said founding partner Neal Salisian in addressing the hires. “Our primary focus is always on having satisfied, well cared for clients. More talented hands on deck will certainly help us do that for new and existing clients alike.”
Indeed, Chau and Chun, while still in the earlier stages of their legal careers, boast impressive pedigrees that are sure to be beneficial to the team. Ms. Chau was most recently a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California, a role in which she tried five jury trials, handled numerous 9th Circuit Appeals and appeared in federal court hundreds of times. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was an associate at a large investment firm. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was an Editorial Board Member for the San Diego International Law Journal. She received her B.S. from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
Ms. Chun received her J.D. from Cornell Law School. While there, she was an editor of the Cornell International Law Journal and served on both the Cornell Moot Court Board and Mock Trial Board. During her time in law school, she served as an extern for the Honorable Suzanne H. Segal of the Central District of California. Ms. Chun also worked as a law clerk and later volunteer attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. Also in the course of her legal studies, Ms. Chun worked for Cornell Law’s appellate immigration clinic, for which she successfully appealed an asylum case to the Board of Immigration Appeals. She received her B.A. from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude and with Highest Distinction.
Both attorneys will work with Neal Salisian and co-founding partner Richard Lee, as well as with the other associates already on staff, on multiple matters across several practices areas for the firm’s largely business and entrepreneurial client base.
“We are excited that they are on board and even more excited to get them to work,” said Partner Richard Lee. “We are certainly in a place where their help is very much needed – and that’s a good thing.”
Both attorneys are admitted to practice law in California.
