Partner Richard Lee gave his annual talk in Professor Bill Wood’s Civil Procedure class at Southwestern Law School on April 25. Addressing the practical realities of practicing litigation in California, he provided an overview of the different phases of litigation: pretrial (i.e., pleadings, law & motions, discovery), trial/arbitration, and post-trial (i.e., appellate practice and post-judgment enforcement proceedings), as well as what to expect as a young associate or deputy attorney in an office setting. As in years past, the class was engaged and the lecture was well-received by all involved.
