Partner Neal Salisian provides his thoughts on why attorneys opt to ignore pre-litigation demand letters filed against banks in a discussion with American Banker reporter Andy Peters.  He believes that some bankers are afraid of personal liability.  As quoted in the article: “It’s a scary situation for a lender or their counsel. You don’t want to fall into a nightmare scenario where you now owe them money.”
